Helios Control LLC is a U.S.-based aerospace technology company building the autonomous mission execution layer for lunar and cislunar operations. We are developing AMOCS -- the Autonomous Mission Operations Coordination System -- to fill the operational coordination gap in NASA Artemis surface operations and commercial lunar missions.
Why We Are Different
The space operations software market is filling up with simulation platforms -- tools that model missions for analysis, wargaming, and policy briefings. Those tools are valuable. We are building something different: the execution layer that runs the mission when it is actually happening.
No existing funded or operational system coordinates multiple heterogeneous autonomous assets in real time during live lunar surface operations under Earth-Moon communication constraints. That is the problem we are solving. That is the layer we are building.
About the CEO: Robert Krueger
Robert “Bob” Krueger is a retired U.S. Air Force pilot and navigator with over 23 years of operational aerospace experience and more than 4,300 flight hours, including 350 hours of combat and combat support operations. His career includes global mission execution, multi-system coordination, and leadership in high-reliability environments.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth, a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Science in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota, with academic focus in human spaceflight operations and planetary science.
Mr. Krueger previously served at the Pentagon within the U.S. Air Force Operations Group, where he contributed to development of the Air Force Defense Readiness Reporting System (AFDRRS), a large-scale, cloud-based operational readiness platform. He also led coordination and approval of global aviation operations, including multinational and high-visibility events.
His background in mission planning, execution, and real-time decision-making under uncertainty directly aligns with NASA’s need for scalable, AI-assisted mission operations systems. He is the founder of HeliosWerks, focused on enabling safe and efficient expansion of human activity beyond Earth through advanced mission operations technologies.
